The Blind Side

This is the first cat I met at Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Shelter, a typical kitten who loves to explore and play.

It was very difficult getting photos of this little rascal as he couldn’t stay in one place for more than a few seconds and everything was a toy.

He is a typical kitten, except that he is blind. He uses his paws like a walking cane and extends them out to “see” what is directly in front of him. He tilts his head to follow your voice. And if he hits a bump in the road, he doesn’t let it slow him down, he just keeps moving forward. A life lesson for us all.

This special boy deserves a special home. He is available at Thomas J. O’Connor in Springfield, MA
