Manny is being fostered in Worcester, MA for Broken Tail Rescue.
I visited Manny this past Sunday (April 15) and the first thing I noticed was his adorable under bite. It definitely added to his cuteness not that he wasn’t already a handsome boy. We were trying to think other than Chihuahua what else he is mixed with besides sweetness.
This three year old boy has had a rough start in life. He was picked up by a local animal control after being hit by a car. Luckily, he didn’t sustain any injuries from the recent run-in but x-rays revealed a previous leg/hip injury which was never treated so it healed improperly. He has already had his surgery to fix his previous injury and is now ready to find his forever home. Unfortunately this seems to be scaring people away from applying for him.
I can tell you that his previous injury and surgery has NOT slowed him down one bit. Manny was playing with his foster mom’s dog, a small Pitbull mix, and he had no problem holding his own and running around the yard at top speed.
He loves playing with other dogs, and is good with kids but can be annoying, but not aggressive, to cats. If you have a fun loving dog that loves to wrestle and play games of tag, then Manny is your boy!
Manny is a lot of dog in a small package
